So, you take a wonderful beer like Dragon's Milk and add roasted chili peppers to it. I don't know what beer drinkers did to deserve this, but we should all send a thank you card to New Holland Brewing.
What Should You Do With It? Savor the Beer
A good bartender once told me, "Hopslam is not a beer. It's an event." Hopslam is, in my opinion, the one beer that belongs on the AHBA's top 10 and can not and should not be debated. It is simply that good.
I admit it. I fell prey to name and the cool bottle and I have never heard of Atwater Brewery and I love trying new breweries. I hope this is not their best offering. HOLD IT! HOLD IT. I GOT A BAD BOTTLE. Let's try this again...
What Should You Do With It? Drink the Beer
It took me about 60 seconds to figure out that I could spend "all day" with this IPA and be just fine with it.
What Should You Do With It? Praise the Beer
A little hoppier than most Márzen beers I've had but still has the classic flavors and smooth mouth feel that make it a great way to celebrate Oktoberfest and kickoff fall.
A rich flavored, complex brew. If dragon's gave up this beer as their milk, my guess is they would never have gone extinct.
A smooth mouthy beer that pops with hops but is surprisingly drinkable.
Good quality ingredients and interesting flavor combinations equal a really nice, smooth, and drinkable American style IPA.
This very light bodied and light flavored blonde is certainly not a gal I would "pick," out of a crowd.
